Passport valid for a minimum of six months required by all except:
1. nationals of Canada and the USA, provided holding proof of identity (birth certificate and photo ID).

Required by all except the following for stays of up to 30 days:
(a) nationals of countries referred to in the chart above (2. except nationals of Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovak Republic and Slovenia who do require a visa);
(b) nationals of Commonwealth countries (except nationals of Cameroon, Jamaica, Mozambique and Namibia);
(c) nationals of Anguilla, Argentina, Bahrain, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Chile, China (PR), Costa Rica, Côte d'Ivoire, Ecuador, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Korea (Rep), Kuwait, the Leeward Islands, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Monaco, Montserrat, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Surinam, Switzerland, the Syrian Arab Republic, Taiwan (China), Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States Pacific Territories, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela, Vietnam, Western Samoa, Yemen, Zaire and Zimbabwe;
(d) nationals of countries not specified above who are lawful residents of the UK, the USA or Canada, or who are holders of a valid visa permitting their travel to the UK, the USA or Canada may be granted leave to enter Turks and Caicos without a visa;
(e) most transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft, provided holding onward or return documentation and not leaving the airport. Nationals of a few countries may require a transit visa. Check with the UK Passport Service before departure.

(a) Passport with six months remaining validity. (b) Return or onward ticket. (c) Evidence of sufficient funds for the duration of stay.

Work and residence permits are required; apply to the Chief Immigration Officer, Government Buildings, Grand Turk.

Applications generally have to be referred to Grand Turk, which takes one month.
