Netherlands Antilles Guilder or Florin (ANG) = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of ANG250, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of ANG5 and 1 and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents. The US Dollar is widely accepted. Note: The Netherlands Antilles Guilder is linked to the US Dollar.

There are three banks on the island. All major currencies can be exchanged.

MasterCard and Visa are accepted in large establishments.

There are no restrictions on the import and export of local or foreign currency, but the import and export of amounts of foreign currency exceeding ANG20,000 must declared. The import of Dutch or Surinam silver coins is prohibited.
