Food & drink Tap water is considered safe to drink. Milk is pasteurised and dairy products are safe for consumption. Local meat, poultry, seafood, fruit and vegetables are generally considered safe to eat. There are excellent medical facilities and many hotels also have doctors on call. The main hospital is the Dr Horacio Oduber. There is also the Centro Medico. In rare circumstances, air evacuation to Curaçao may be necessary. Full medical insurance is advised. There is no reciprocal health agreement with the UK.
